The Results Are In!

HOLY CRAP! I am over joyed right now! I had my progesterone checked this morning to see if I ovulated and I DID! My number was.....

My nurse said that my number was very robust and that I could have potentially ovulated more that one egg! She said while it is hard to give an exact day, ovulation should have occurred about a week ago. As I look back at my FF chart, we BD'd on all the important days, I think! I hope. I am CD 22 today and we will say DPO 6. My nurse told me that with a progesterone level that elevated I could experience more bloating and cramping than usual (which I have), she said I could take Tylenol if I needed to, but not to take Ibuprofen. She also said that if my menstrual cycle doesn't start by Friday to take a HPT. I am horrible at taking test, I seem to fail every time. I will drag it out. I am not sure why, but for me, holding out gives me hope. I will test when I feel a new symptom; or when my husband and friends riddle me with so much peer pressure that I break! ;-)

Ovulation. What a BEAUTIFUL thing!

  1. You know that the doctor wants your progesterone levels to be at least 15 on a clomid or femara cycle. You have exceeded that expectation largely! I hope that you get wonderful news next week!

  2. Thanks Toni! Me too. I am trying to just focus on this milestone and not worry too much about the next. I have read that with levels that high there could be other underlining problems like adrenal hyperplasia (I have over active adrenal glads)adrenal and ovarian cancer. I am pretty sure the nurse would have mentioned that, right?!
