We just got back from watching 'Silver Linings Playbook'. It was a great movie and we both really enjoyed it. It was a toss up between that and 'Snitch'. When I got home I took an OPK. Okay, so I lied; I took two.

The top test was taken early this morning and there seems to be a slight line visible. Then, this afternoon I got a smiley face on the Clearblue. This is my first time ever using the "smiley face" brand, thanks to AMBER! You can imagine my excitement when I saw it! It is so much easier than trying to match up line colors.
But, what I don't understand is why I got a practically non-existing line on the First Response test using the SAME urine!? I am not sure if I left one test in the urine cup longer than I should have or what... it just seems so odd. I wonder if I should test again tonight or just say "heck with it", BD, and test again tomorrow!?
My temp dropped the other day but was higher again this morning and I don't really notice CM. I am having slight ovary pains and felt some fluttering this morning....
What are your thoughts, lovely followers?
UPDATE: I took two more test (yes, that makes 5 for the day) and I did NOT get a smiley face! WTH? We will BD still... just in case!
I love the ClearBlue smiley faces. That being said, when I pull the stick out, the lines always look like a negative to me. So I get the confusion. But my doctor has always recommended them and I always seem to ovulate on schedule with what they say. Hopefully it means good things for you!

DeleteI guess I'm glad I have only been using the one test so as not to confuse myself...although now I am worried that it has not been correct. Have you tried googling it to see what other people have noticed with the different tests? Hope you ovulated!
DeleteI hate the two line tests -it's like being at your eye doctors "darker one or darker two?" the Happy face ones are much easier and more fun!

DeleteThe smiley faces are way easier. I have to say that once I saw a smiley face I never tested again (too expensive!) so I have no idea if I would have gotten it again.

DeleteI thought I recognized that! Lol. My dr. Told me to use the clear blue so there was no question. I wouldn't say the later line was non existent as I can see it pretty clearly. It's not as dark, but it is definitely there. I am baffled by you not getting a smiley later though. I hope you guys did BD just in case...
ReplyDeleteWe did! I couldn't beleive I only got a smiley face on one test. Maybe my urine was not as concentrated at 7pm. I will test again this afternoon!

When in doubt, hump it out and test again tomorrow and every day until you get a temp spike.
