A few days ago I noticed that my boobs felt firmer than usual and they looked a little enlarged, too; that's when I knew that AF was on her way. This morning when I woke up I had a stomach ache and as soon as I got up and went to the bathroom I noticed the spotting. Femara is good for one thing; starting my period on time. I didn't even have to contemplate taking a HPT; I never had the chance.
So, what would have been CD 33 has now turned into CD 1 and I have the worst effin cramps ever! Come to think of it, I think that is the only side effect I have from the Femara. Every period after it is hell. Seriously. The first day all I want to do is nothing but cry, complain, and curl up into a ball. But, it's almost Christmas and I gots shit to do, yo! So, pass me the midol and I will be on my way.
Besides, I need tampons!
Ugh so sorry you have horrible cramps. I know it leaves me wanting to do NOTHING so I can imagine you feel the same :(
ReplyDeleteBoo, I hate cramps! Side note, those pictures are hilarious, and SOO true! Hoping they go away with a little midol so that you are able to get your stuff done!
ReplyDeleteSorry about CD1...and the horrid cramps. I remember that being a side effect of Femara for me too. Hope that they subside soon and you have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteFemara (7.5 mg for 7 days) made my period 4 days late. I was very, very angry about that. Ugh. And then she shows up and is heavy and all around ishy.
ReplyDeleteAlways love your quick wit and humor over all this bull honky. I swear my ability to laugh is the only thing getting me through these harder days.
You only had a 15 day cycle?! How is that possible? Sorry you have a shitty period. :(
ReplyDeleteBah ha! I meant on DPO 15!! It was CD 33! Thanks for catching that!!
DeleteHoping the cramps subside.
ReplyDeleteUgh, sucky that you're having cramps. I thought you were implying something else when you first stated your symptoms! Cramps always ruin the day.. even the word "cramp" is just so...blech.
ReplyDeleteThose pics are hilarious though! I love them. I saw a video once of a belt created to simulate labour pains that pregnant women had their husbands wear. Just so they could see. All I can say about it is that it's a good thing women have babies. Because if men did, humanity would have died out a long time ago!
People, periods & poop. Dying! Those things do go together. Ewwwwww
ReplyDeleteCramps suck. Sorry yours are so terrible. I do love the e-cards you have in this post- especially the glitter one! LOL
ReplyDeleteUgh. The worst. AF should start for me on New Year's Eve, so that would be an appropriate time to start shooting glitter! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping the femera does the trick and makes those cramps worthwhile. Hey, a girl can hope, right? Also, the first of your pics? SO TRUE!!! Lol
