During our "sabbatical" my cycles went back to being unreliable. At first they were about 42 days long and then some how it went to 74 days! This month I was totally unprepared, I figured that my cycle would go another 40 days or so; at least, but on CD 32 of this month AF came! I was searching for tampons around the house, through drawers, purses and coats. You would think that I would have tampons on hand at all times since AF shows up at the most inconvenient moments!
I figured that since I wasn't sure when she would show up again I had better use up the Femara I had on hand. So, here we are. I am on CD 16, with EWCM and 3 days worth of negative OPKs. I have the usual cramping and left ovary pain; I don't feel much on the right side, ever.
I notice that when I near ovulation not only do I get crampy and experience ovary pain, I also feel a bit constipated and I get some low back pain, more than usual. Does anyone else have any weird symptoms they relate to ovulation?
Even though I have my doubts that this cycle will work; I can still hope that my body does it's job. It is the small things that appease me the most these days.
Congrats on losing the weight! I don't have any symptoms with ovulation but sometimes I do get tugging on the ovulating side. I have the same attitude about my IUI: not believing that it will work but hope that my body does its job. I hope that your cycle will surprise you!
ReplyDeleteI have those pains too. Most of the time. I get crampy, like everything is swollen & I have a hard time passing my bowels. Colace & lots of water work well for me. Glad your body is getting its act together!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that you get a positive OPK soon!!! Good luck, friend! :)
ReplyDeleteThe weight loss is AMAZING!!! Congratulations girl! You should be SUPER proud! And as for wonky cycles and no tampons... I hear ya'! I used to be so well stocked... I'd have tampons in every size. Then I started the insane desire NOT to buy them, you know, in case this was the last cycle. Bahhhh! I've been completely out of tampons so many times in the last year plus... it's ridiculous! Wishing you luck this cycle!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the weight loss, that's great!! It's also good to hear that your cycle was much shorter this time :)
ReplyDeleteYou rocked that first bit of weight loss! Good luck with the rest....although I think you look fabulous! I'm glad you're in a good place. A nice long break can do that!
ReplyDeleteFX for this cycle!! Even though I pretty much only had ovary pains on my left side, I was told I ovulated from my right side on my BFP cycle.. super weird!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the weight loss -that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAmazing weight loss! Praying this is it for you! I also suffer from those symptoms, but mine are closer to AF arriving and then exhaustion normally hits then as well.
ReplyDeleteThat weight loss is amazing! Keep up the good work. And I am praying that you get your happy ending soon!
ReplyDeleteRemaining hopeful that you'll ovulate and catch the egg.
ReplyDeleteYes to both the back pain and the constipation! Isn't that weird???
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you for all your weight loss to date! That is awesome and I think you look amazing. Incredible that your cycle suddenly decided to be fairly normal with only a 32 day cycle! I never have felt ovary pain, or at least none that I was ever aware of, even when I did IVF! I know it may be a long shot, but that doesn't stop me from saying some prayers that this cycle will be THE ONE for you!
ReplyDeleteWow congrats on the weight loss! That is so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing about the weight loss! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better emotionally and physically. I actually don't feel anything in my ovaries, but I do sometime have some digestive upset and low back pain on the day of ovulation.
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you for your weightloss lady!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!
